The whole house is thoughtfully decorated in neutral colours and lovely fabrics. It is carpeted throughout except the oak floored hall and the kitchen and bathroom areas. Oil fired central heating ensures it is snug and warm and there are wood fires in the hall and sitting room.

A lift and step free access from February 2018 means that the majority of the house can be accessed by aged or disabled persons.

Wifi is available throughout the house at 10mbs and there are ethernet plugs in all rooms. Widescreen Smart televisions in the oak room and study and another widescreen TV in the games room. There is a Bose SoundTouch sytem for music. The games room has a full size billiards table and table football and there is a table tennis table, croquet, badminton, boules for outside use. Tennis is availalbe at our next door property 300m away and Salmon fishing is possible by arrangement in The Border Esk. Outside, the beautiful gardens are immaculately kept and there are walks in the surrounding woodland. There is an outdoor hot tub.
